Confirm The Vehicle Plan First
If you are using a school car, confirm which option Marc recommends and what is included. If you are bringing your own weapon, the car must be a suitable rear-wheel-drive manual platform and pass the safety review.
Bring The Required Safety Gear
A DOT-approved helmet is required. Bicycle helmets are not accepted. Long sleeves, pants, and closed-toe shoes are required or strongly recommended as confirmed before the session. Gloves are recommended.
Own-Car Drivers Should Prepare Consumables
Bring enough tires, fuel, and basic track-day supplies for the goals you discussed. Street cars may also need extra attention to cooling, brakes, fluid levels, wheel torque, alignment, and general reliability.
Show Up With One Or Two Clear Goals
A useful goal is specific enough to coach: hold a controlled slide, stop overcorrecting, improve left-right transitions, become more consistent on entry, or work on competition-style line and commitment.
